Obituary
Larry Bruce Doss, age 85, of New Boston, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2026. Born on August 30, 1941, in Cross Plains, Tennessee, Larry lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family.
Larry devoted 40 years of his life to his career at Ford Motor Company. Beyond his professional life, he found joy in wood carving, a craft that allowed him to express his creativity and patience. He cherished his time spent at the family cottage on Black Lake, a place filled with fond memories and family gatherings. A passionate supporter of the University of Michigan football team, Larry was a proud season ticket holder who enjoyed cheering on his team.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane; his daughter, Jackie Weick; his parents, Clarence and Bessie Doss; and his brothers, Wayne and Bryant Doss.
Larry is survived by his loving children: son, Rob (Patty) Doss, son, Larry (Staci) Doss, and daughter, Cherry (Shaun) Milaszewski. He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren, Alicia, Brendan (Julia), Emily, Tyler, Trent, Haley (Ethan), Falyn, Brady, and Ryan, as well as his son-in-law, Les Weick.
Larry Bruce Doss will be remembered for his steadfast spirit, his craftsmanship, and the warmth he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
